"it's wonderful to see you, gandalf!"

and gandalf goes,

"how could i miss bilbo's 111th birthday!"

frodo: i don't suppose we may see them again.

samwise gamgee: we may, mr frodo. we may.

frodo: sam, i'm glad you're with me.

i just want to cry. the end of the fellowship is so sad in such an unfinished way.
