i would date rod serling

i went to a lighthouse today with my dad and my brother. we drove all the way to the beach and there were hundreds of people there! we went because the lighthouse had gotten a new bulb after some years and was being lit for the first time since whenever. awhile i gauge. anyway we went and it was SUHPRI'TEEE when we were driving and arrived in the actual island it was about 4:40 so the sun was just going down, the sky was a bit orange at the bottom and the water's the best at sunset because the surface is all lit up. i got nice photos from a moving car.

the actual lighthouse was nice too but because of all the crowds they wouldn't let anyone walk up to the top which was extremely disappointing. i have a fear of heights but love flying in airplanes, skiing on dem big mountainzz and going up lighthouses, although seeing the lighthouse standing made me quivery. my legs turn a bit jelly and we were on concrete but i still felt afraid i would fall.

then we were going to go to this totes amazing restaurant down there that everyone knows about (chicken or the egg? yes? no? yes, yes i thought so) but it was closed for the season. it makes sense but i was also disappointed at that.

the rocks in the water were pretty, so were the lights and the orange and crimson in the sky. they sort of melted into the dark blue of night. there was a crescent moon and a lone star that was there from the start of sunset to probably now. there were other stars but just a light dusting.

photographs comingggg.
